Broccoli...Could it be the Perfect Vegetable? |

There are many who believe that Broccoli is the world’s most perfect vegetable.
Hard not to love a vegetable that’s aesthetically attractive, has a delightful
taste, can be used in countless culinary ways and is right at the top in
nutritional
content. Broccoli has been around for at least 2,000 years,
and was a favorite food of the Romans. A traditionally popular vegetable,
Broccoli’s spectacular reputation just keeps growing: consumption has tripled
over the past 25 years.

We believe Ocean Mist Farms grows the best Broccoli anywhere. We are able to grow our
Broccoli year-round, thanks to our two outstanding growing regions: California's Central
Coast and Coachella Valley. Our Broccoli comes in two formats:
Bunch - Dark green stalks trimmed to 7 1/2 inches for uniformity and even cooking. The
bunches may come with several stalks held together by a sturdy rubber band, or
over wrapped in plastic to help maintain freshness. Bunches are
perfect for steaming,
or to serve with lemon juice and butter, or
any of a variety of savory sauces.

Crowns - The very best of Broccoli tops, trimmed to five inches in
diameter — just right
to blanch for snacking or dipping, or to steam or stir-fry.
