Steamed Asparagus with Orange Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

2 pounds of Asparagus
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup minced Shallots or white part of Green Onion.
1 1/4 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 1/3 cups orange juice

Directions:

Rinse Asparagus well and snap off any tough ends. Stand upright in a steamer with enough water to cover 1/2 inch of the stalks. Steam until just crisp-tender, (8-12 minutes or to your taste). Drain and keep warm. Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in a wide frying pan over medium heat. Add Shallots or Green Onion; cook, stirring until soft. Add mustard and orange juice. Bring to a boil over high heat; boil until reduced to 1/3 cup. Remove from heat and add remaining butter and stir until incorporated. Top Asparagus with sauce.

I think the orance juice made it simply taste like eating asparagus with orange juice. Not that wonderful as a mix.
