Stuffed Pork Chops with Kalettes® & Rice
The color & texture of Kalettes® gives the stuffing added flavor.
1 cup Kalettes®, rinsed and chopped
1 cup rice, cooked (for quick serving, use prepackaged rice cooked in microwave for 90 seconds)
2 Thick-cut fresh pork chops
Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook rice -your preferred method Then mix Kalettes® in with rice.
- “Butterfly cut” both pork chops. Salt/Pepper outside.
- In very hot skillet with olive oil, brown each side of pork chops 2 minutes on each side. Take chops off heat and stuff with rice/Kalette mixture.
- Place stuffed pork chops in greased roasting pan. Cook at 375°F for 30-40 minutes until core temperature reaches 165°F.
