Ar(t) You Ready for the Big Game?

It's almost time for the biggest Sunday in football, and I don't know about you, but I typically find myself more interested in the food and half-time show than the game itself. Whether you're hosting a watch party for a crowd, attending one at a friend's, or simply enjoying it at home with your family, here are 3 dishes that are sure to score a touchdown!

Chili Con Queso Artichokes

Chili Con Queso Artichokes are an extra cheesy, somewhat messy, but a completely worth it addition to your spread. The queso comes together in a matter of minutes in the microwave and then gets spooned into cooked artichokes. The petals make a perfect vessel for the dip, and if there's any day that it's acceptable to lick your fingers, the big game on Sunday is the day!

Artichoke Beef Burritos

Handheld food is always a crowd favorite and this one is my personal favorite.  Artichoke Beef Burritos have all the flavors of a plate of loaded nachos wrapped in a tortilla. Baby artichokes add a unique flavor and hearty texture to bulk up the burrito and add a boost of fiber!

Artichoke & Lemon Fritto Misto

Bring the stadium experience to your living room with this Artichoke & Lemon Fritto Misto. Adding semolina flour to the batter makes for a crispier, chewier crust. However, if you don't have any on-hand you can easily use all-purpose flour!

We may not all be cheering for the same team, but we'll all be cheering about these dishes! Find more game day inspiration on our Recipes page and watch easy step-by-step videos on how to prepare and cook artichokes on our Cooking Class page.

Growing up on California's central coast, I enjoyed delicious artichokes around the family dinner table and always on Christmas Eve! It is beyond perfection that I now market artichokes for a living and get to share the Ocean Mist Farms story and my love of all things fresh.
