Brunching with Brussels
The holiday season may be over, but that doesn't mean gatherings with loved ones has to be! There's nothing better than having a cozy meal in gathered around a table full of delicious food. Something that my girlfriends and I enjoy in the winter is a hearty homemade brunch. We take turns hosting every few weeks, and everyone brings their favorite dish. Over the years, you may be surprised at what has become my go-to ingredient for brunch dishes: Brussels sprouts. They pair well with both sweet and savory, and the added fiber keeps you satiated throughout the day.
One of my favorite things about brunch is that it's equally acceptable to eat a salad as it is to devour a stack of pancakes.
