With Halloween only 7 days away, you may be daydreaming of all the treats you will be eating to satisfy your sweet tooth. Our personal favorite is anything with chocolate and caramel. But, what happens after this spooky holiday is over?

Ocean Mist Farms Breakfast Salad

Salad for breakfast? Yes, absolutely. Our new Breakfast Salad recipe, created by blog contributor Chef Adrienne, is the perfect fresh veggie side salad to compliment a breakfast egg dish. Plus, it's good for the body and an excellent start to the day! Check out the recipe below.


1 10 ounce bag of OMF's Spinach

1/2 OMF's Fennel Bulb (thinly sliced)

1 12 ounce bag of Season & Steam Brussels Sprouts Shreds

2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

1 cup of cooked crumbled bacon

1/2 cup of bottled raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing mixed with 1/2 cup orange juice.

1/2 cup of fresh mint (chopped)

1/2 cup of fresh basil (chopped) 


  1. In a large salad bowl, add all the ingredients (except the bacon) and toss with raspberry/orange dressing.
  2. Garnish with crumbled bacon and serve with your favorite breakfast egg dish.
