Reflecting with Gratitude on the Past Year

This certainly has been a unique year putting it mildly. All the overwhelming information about the Pandemic, limited gatherings with friends & family, and new ways to attend school, etc., it can pile up! So, I’ve taken to keeping a list of Silver Linings. Here are a few...Working from home and not traveling as much has given me time with family, and a chance to do some household projects I didn’t make enough time for before; working in an essential business that allows me to sing the praises of healthy fresh vegetables as we all strive to maintain our mental and physical well-being; spending more time with my mom (socially distanced of course), the list goes on.

Keeping track of the positive is a healthy brain exercise- the power of positive thinking, seeing the glass half full, putting on a happy face, call it what you will- and routinely asking "What are you grateful for?" during these unique times is important now more than ever. With Thanksgiving around the corner, we asked this very question at work. Keep reading to see what others at Ocean Mist Farms had to say:

FranciscoCastaneda-ThanksgivingFrancisco Castaneda, Production Manager- "Today, so many families are facing difficult times due to COVID-19. First, I’m grateful because my family has remained healthy during these unprecedented times we live in. Second, I’m grateful that I work in the Ag industry, an essential industry, and that I’m able to continue to support my family and other families across the country by producing healthy, nutritious food."
