RECEIVING COORDINATOR - OCEAN MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load shuttles safely operating a four pallet forklift daily.
• Assist with loading product on hydro-vac tubes for cooling on a timely and efficient basis.
• Accurately separate all product for wet/dry cooling cycles in a timely basis.
• Verify field traceback ID’s (PTI’s) on cartons to match dates, blocks and crew numbers.
• Verify case count for accuracy and report any discrepancies to the cooling supervisor.
• Consolidate partial cartons into full pallets, this includes physically moving cartons and using a scan gun to update inventory in famous system.
• Properly complete daily equipment inspections check list, must report any damages or anything that needs attention from maintenance.
• Clean up working stations and document any necessary cleaning logs at the end of day.
• Other cooling duties as assigned.
  
  

• High school diploma required.
• One year minimum experience in Agriculture cooling or receiving duties in agriculture required.
• Forklift truck Certified with at least one year experience preferred.
• Experience in famous and cooler management system a plus.
• Must have strong communication skills and be a team player.
• Must be willing and able to assist team members as needed in other areas.
• Must be able to alternate work shifts.
• Must be able to work in a high noise level environment.
• Complete daily stretching exercises.
• Bi-lingual: English / Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication.
