RECEPTIONIST/OFFICE ASSISTANT - OCEAN MIST FARMS, COACHELLA, CA

The Receptionist/Office Assistant reports to the Office Manager in our Coachella facility and is responsible for administrative and clerical tasks.

You have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible and have excellent communication skills. You are dependable and maintain a high degree of confidentiality

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer telephones, greet and interact with employees, customers and vendors.
  • Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
  • Provide administrative support to Vice President of Production South and Plant Manager
  • Support the Human Resources Department with employee hiring forms and layoff or termination forms.
  • Order and maintain supplies for the Coachella office.
  • Assist with organizing and filing records.
  • Assist with company events and meetings.

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the agriculture industry.
  • Prior experience performing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish with the ability to communicate, read, write and translate at a proficient level is required.
