TRACTOR DRIVER - OCEAN MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

The Tractor Driver will work under the general supervision of the Ranch Supervisor. This position will be responsible for operating Agriculture tractor machinery and preparing the field for quality production. This position will require work with various implements of the equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for adjusting agricultural implements.
• Responsible for connecting and disconnecting implements.
• Conduct tractor daily inspections and check for refuel, fluid, and oil levels.
• Conduct minimal maintenance, such as greasing the equipment and replacing chisel points and shovels.
• Responsible for following the tractor safety practices.
• Comply with traffic laws to move equipment on public roads.
  
  

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• 1 year of agriculture experience is preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License.
• Must be able to follow safety guidelines and work safely around and with equipment and other personnel.
• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to maintain effective working and professional relationships with employees, supervisors, vendors, and customers; maintain a balanced outlook during stressful times.
