TWELVE PALLET OPERATOR - CASTROVILLE, CA

The Twelve Pallet Operator is responsible for loading and unloading all incoming raw product in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload field trailers in a timely manner
- Load and offload HydroVac shuttles
- Move cold product from HydroVac to cold rooms in a timely manner
- Assist and offload packaging supplies and pallets
- Preform cooling operations using vacuum tubes
- Maintain cooling logs of all loads
- Maintain proper documentation for all activity
- Assist with cleaning HydroVac-tubes
- Must complete daily forklift inspections
- Other duties assigned
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Two years’ experience driving a forklift is required
- Basic math and reading skills are required
- Basic entry level computer knowledge is required
- At least two years’ experience in agriculture, cooling environment is preferred
- Forklift certification is preferred
- Ability to learn new computer software programs
- This position requires that employees work the necessary hours to fulfill job responsibilities Monday to Saturday, including some Sundays; also, able to work on rotating shifts
