The Assistant Supervisor, Truck Shop will have Technician I’s, Mechanic I’s, II’s and helpers assigned to work with them and under their supervision. They will assign tasks and ensure that the work is done satisfactorily. The truck shop assistant supervisor will keep the shop manager informed of all activities in the shop and of any problems, whether technical or with shop or field personnel. The truck shop assistant supervisor will support the management team during their absence by stepping in and assisting. |
The Shop Assistant is responsible for assisting the parts department, as well as the mechanics in the shop. This position will also clean the shop and conduct forklift inspections.
The Collections Manager is responsible for analyzing customer balances, corresponding and negotiating with customers, investigating and resolving customer issues and collecting customer payments. Ability to demonstrate effective time and task management and will take ownership of assignments and accept responsibility for collections and OTC team results.
The Truck Mechanic I is responsible for assisting and working under the direction of the Truck Shop Supervisor at Ocean Mist Farms. This position is responsible for duties pertaining to the Mechanic role.
The Truck Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining and repairing farm machinery, includes but not limited to, trailers, low boys, and pumps.
The Receiver is responsible for receiving all incoming product, in good conditions and proper traceability to Ocean Mist Farms facility.
The Box Rotator is responsible for receiving, offloading and rotating cooled products. Must be forklift experienced and certified. Bilingual skills are a plus.
The Tractor Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining and repairing farm machinery, includes but not limited to, tillage equipment, drip tape equipment, seed planters, transplanters, and pumps.
The Assistant Plant Manager is responsible for coordinating all Shipping office activities and assisting the Plant Manager in all aspects of the operation in Coachella, Huron and Oxnard locations. Coordinates with the I.T. department on all aspects of the computer systems that relate to Operations.
The Compliance Manager, South is responsible for developing, administering, and verifying the implementation of the company’s internal food safety program for the operations in Coachella, Yuma, and Oxnard. The incumbent will manage others, including and up to, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, providing employee feedback, disciplinary communication, and conducting annual performance evaluations. This position will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the Coachella Plant Manager.
The Communications Manager oversees all activities and personnel related to social media management, advertising, and content creation, as well as the companies trade public relations activities.
The Loader position is responsible for placing finished goods into the warehouse, proper rotation of inventory, accurately and efficiently picking customer orders and loading finished goods onto truck.
The Product Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance activities in all Ocean Mist Farms locations. Primary duties include, but not limited to; upholding Ocean Mist Farms product standards, overseeing all inspections, maintaining accurate reporting and monitoring outside services. This role will work under general supervision; supervise others, including and up to, providing employee feedback, disciplinary communication, performance reviews and training.
