Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for directing, coordinating and executing the activities of inbound and out bound trucks in a courteous and professional manner. The individual in this role must be comfortable working in a fast pace environment that is focused on supporting customers, internal departments, and truck drivers.

CARTON YARD LOADER - OCEAN MIST FARMS, COACHELLA, CA

The Carton Yard Loader will work under general supervision and is responsible for loading and receiving supplies from field trucks and vendors. Also maintains inventory with hand-held personal device assistants (PDA’s).

ICE INJECTOR OPERATOR - OCEAN MIST FARMS, COACHELLA, CA

The Ice Injector Operator reports to the Cooling / Inventory Control Supervisor and is responsible for icing produce for the day's orders and taking care of sanitation system.

RECEIVING AND COOLING SUPERVISOR - OCEAN MIST FARMS, COACHELLA, CA

Under minimal supervision, Receiving and Cooling Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all receiving personnel is entering field data accurately in Famous software. This position is responsible for receiving and cooling product to its optimum temperature in the shortest amount of time, also assisting receiving and cooling manager oversee day to day operations within the department.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE OFFICER - BOUTONNET FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

This position encompasses all aspects of General Safety, Food Safety and Insurance Coordination. Training, documentation gathering/maintenance and working with all regulatory agencies to ensure compliance of Boutonnet Farms with all Federal State and local laws and ordinances governing our agriculture business, are essential functions of this position.   

SAFETY AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST - OCEAN MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

This position will support the execution of Ocean Mist Farms and affiliate Safety & HR programs and ensure compliance required by the company and all regulatory agencies.   Coordinates and implements safety, injury and illness prevention programs, conducts related training, investigates accidents, and identifies possible causes, recommends corrective action, and provides effective compliance support to management. This role will also provide personnel policy and procedure guidance and counseling to managers and conduct employee relations investigations. This role requires a strong presence at all our field, cooler and plant operations.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & FOOD SAFETY INSPECTOR - OCEAN MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

This position is located in Castroville, California and reports directly to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager under general supervision. The Quality Assurance & Food Safety Inspector will perform inspections on all commodities. Work schedule will be Monday – Saturday, with variable hours as needed to fulfill job responsibility; Sunday and holidays as required. Travel and seasonal relocation will be required to our remote facilities and surrounding areas.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER - VALLEY PRIDE, SALINAS, CA

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager serves as a proactive business partner to the management team.  This position is responsible for managing the planning, further development, implementation and administration of employment policies and human resources activities of Valley Pride, Inc.  The Human Resources Manager leads and makes recommendations on all labor and employee relation activities: benefits, training and development, recruitment, onboarding, leaves of absences, strategic planning, and ensures compliance with all federal and state laws.    

MAINTENANCE FLEET MANAGER - VALLEY PRIDE, SALINAS, CA

The Maintenance Fleet Manager leads a team of mechanics and truck drivers and is responsible for coordinating maintenance for all on- and off-road equipment and yard facilities for Valley Pride and JTD Leasing companies, in conjunction with our on-road maintenance affiliate. In addition to optimizing efficiencies and managing the team to achieve targeted results, the Fleet Maintenance Manager ensures compliance with all federal and state agencies, adherence to safety rules and practices at all times, and timely deliveries to all customers and minimizing downtime in field operations.

Additionally, the Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading Valley Pride’s Fleet Management and Logistics program including all coordination, planning, and dispatching

GENERAL MANAGER OF FARMING OPERATIONS - OCEAN MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

The General Manager of Farming Operations is responsible for the day-to-day management of the internal Salinas / Castroville farming operations, encompassing 4,500 physical acres.

FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISOR - VALLEY PRIDE, SALINAS, CA

The Food Safety Supervisor works under the direction of the Field Operations Manager.  This position is responsible for designing, developing and leading the implementation of the systems for measuring and managing conformity to Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement (LGMA), National Organic Program (NOP), Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)/EPA and other established regulatory, industry and proprietary standards in all regions of the company’s operations including the Salinas Valley, Huron, Coachella and Yuma Arizona.

* Travel and seasonal relocation to areas such as Castroville, CA; Coachella, CA; Huron, CA and Yuma, Arizona is required. 

LOADER (FORKLIFT OPERATOR) – OCEAN MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

The Loader is responsible for loading and offloading cooled products. Candidates must have current or prior a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience and certification. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are always highly desired.
