The Box Rotator is responsible for receiving, offloading and rotating cooled products. Must be forklift experienced and certified. Bilingual skills are a plus.

PARTS COUNTER CLERK, SEA MIST FARMS, CA

The Parts Counter Clerk assists and works under the direction of the Parts Department Manager of Sea Mist Farms. This position is responsible for ordering, retrieving or delivering parts to vendors, job sites, shop or the main office. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory, use of the fleet maintenance management computer system and report writing. Reviews invoices, including vendor billing, enters data, and files invoices and parts requests. Work independently with minimal supervision. Parts counter personnel will have parts runners assigned to assist in daily work, including shop clean up. Required to guide and utilize the personnel in an effective, productive manner.

QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR, CASTROVILLE, CA

Under the general direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, this position will perform inspections on all commodities. Work schedule will be Monday – Saturday, with variable hours as needed to fulfill job responsibility; Sunday and holidays as required. Travel and seasonal relocation will be required to our remote facilities and surrounding areas. This position is located in Castroville, CA.

HR MANAGER, VALLEY PRIDE INC, CASTROVILLE, CA

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager serves as a proactive business partner to the management team.  This position is responsible for managing the planning, further development, implementation and administration of employment policies and human resources activities of Valley Pride, Inc.  The Human Resources Manager leads and makes recommendations on labor and employee relations, health and safety, employee training and development, and ensures compliance with all federal and state laws.  

TRACTOR SHOP MECHANIC II, SEA MIST FARMS, CASTROVILLE, CA

Cleans, services, diagnoses, adjusts, orders parts and repairs farm machinery such as, but not limited to wheel tractors, harvesters, crawler tractors, tillage equipment, pumps and trailers.

TRUCK DRIVER I, VALLEY PRIDE INC, CASTROVILLE, CA

The Truck Driver I position will require frequent communication with the Commodity Supervisor and the Logistics Team to load, haul and deliver product and materials from one location to another using a company pull-truck in a safe, timely and efficient manner. May require rotational shifts and commodities.

GENERAL ACCOUNTING CLERK, VALLEY PRIDE INC, CASTROVILLE, CA

Responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors and other managers within the department. Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system, ensures files are complete and maintained as needed, handles accounts receivable duties, and assists accounting personnel.

ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR, VALLEY PRIDE INC, CASTROVILLE, CA

The Accounting Supervisor will assist and work under the direction of the Business Manager of Valley Pride, Inc. This professional level position will participate and oversee all aspects of the organization’s general accounting functions: AR/AP, general ledger; cost accounting; and inventory processes. Using reporting, scorecards, and metrics, proven ability to analyze trends and explain variances. Have the ability to partner with diverse teams to design and streamline processes and other operational efficiencies. Bilingual/biliterate in Spanish is required. Occasional travel to remote sites required.

MAINTENANCE & FLEET SUPERVISOR, VALLEY PRIDE INC, CASTROVILLE, CA

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and maintenance of all of the on and off-road equipment and yard facilities for Valley Pride and JTD Leasing companies. Additionally, responsible for the coordination, planning and dispatching activities of the company’s Fleet Management and logistics program. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all federal and state agencies, ensuring safety rules & practices are followed at all times, timely deliveries to all our customers, while optimizing efficiencies throughout the department.
