CASTROVILLE, Calif. The festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 8th and 9th this year and promises something for everyone, from live music and comedy shows, to chef demos and a variety of tasty artichoke-inspired culinary creations sure to satisfy everyone’s palate.
On Saturday June 8th at 12:30pm at the main stage, Ocean Mist Farms will be awarding their scholarships to this year’s local student recipients. Distinguished guests from local and state representatives will be in attendance to present Ocean Mist Farms’ President and Chief Executive Officer, Chris Drew, with Resolutions to recognize the industry-leading company and “to celebrate a century of agricultural excellence” on its 100-year anniversary this year. The company is also recognized on a county, state and federal level for “their contributions to the fresh produce and agriculture industry, for being an exceptional employer creating jobs for thousands of people over the years and cultivating environments where people could learn and grow, and for their philanthropy and service in the communities where they live, farm and do business in.”
