Masala Yogurt Cauliflower

Masala Yogurt Cauliflower makes for a great meal on its own or divided as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 Bag of Ocean Mist Season & Steam Cauliflower Florets
  • 2 Tbsp of Melted Ghee
  • 1 tsp of Shallot Paste
  • 1 Tbsp of Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp of Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp of Sea Salt
  • ½ of Plain Yogurt
  • Cilantro, almonds or cashews and naan bread for serving

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the melted ghee, shallot paste, garam masala, turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Pour over the cauliflower in the bag reserving 1 tbsp for the yogurt.
  3. Mix the remaining mixture into the yogurt
  4. Steam in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  5. Mindfully remove the bag and allow to sit for 1 minute.
  6. In a shallow bowl, spread the yogurt mixture and place the cauliflower over top
  7. Garnish with almonds or cashew, cilantro and serve along with fresh naan bread.

*Makes for a great meal on its own or divided as a side dish.

*If you wish to add some protein, the yogurt mixture also makes for a great marinade for chicken. Allow to sit and marinade overnight and bake or grill when ready.
