


Ingredients
Teriyaki Sauce:
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- ¼ cup Water
- ¼ cup Brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Rice vinegar
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
Beef:
- 1-inch piece Ginger, peeled &
grated - 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch mixed
with 1 Tablespoon water - 1 pound Flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups Jasmine rice
- 2 ½ cups Water
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450ºF with the rack placed in the center position.
Roastables:
- Follow Roastables Sweet Teriyaki preparation instructions and place broccoli florets on baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes until lightly browned and tender.
- Sprinkle with crispy garnish.
Teriyaki Sauce:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until thickened.
Beef:
- In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil.
- Once hot, add beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Add the teriyaki sauce to the pan and toss until the beef is evenly coated.
- Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Rice:
- In a medium saucepan with a lid, combine rinsed Jasmine rice with 3 cups of water.
- Place saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until all of the water has been absorbed.
Serve alongside Roastables Sweet Teriyaki Broccoli. Enjoy!
