Today is National Chopsticks Day which gives us the perfect opportunity to talk about our Sweet Baby Broccoli Stir-fry - a recipe making it's first appearance on the blog today!
Quick Sweet Baby Broccoli Stir-fry
I love Asian food, but to be honest, I don't try to make it at home very often. There is something a little tricky about achieving the perfect blend of flavors after enjoying stir-fry dishes at my favorite Asian restaurants. But the great thing about this recipe is that it's super simple with a flavor profile the whole family will enjoy. You can't do any wrong with this dish !
Also, I want to point out that if you don't have a Trader Joe's near you to grab the 'Island Soyaki' sauce that the recipe mentions, any Teriyaki sauce will do! And I certainly encourage you to modify the recipe to add in any of your family's favorite stir-fry veggies like carrots and snap peas.
Stir-fry is a great one-pot meal for busy weeknights that lets you get in a healthy protein and fresh veggies when the kids are clamoring for you to work your dinner magic. It's also an easy dish to let them help with. It doesn't get much easier than dicing and tossing in a skillet!
So here's a virtual chopsticks cheers to you on this holiday. We'd love to hear how you like to use your sweet baby broccoli!
