More Flavor Please

Written by Ocean Mist Farms. | July 28, 2021

If you cook often like me, the flavor and simplicity of a dish are your #1 focus.  The flavor itself is what makes a dish truly shine and challenges my kitchen skills and senses. When cooking for family, I try to switch it up and incorporate new dishes, pops of color, and especially new flavors. The four recipes below are both simple to make and loaded with flavor ✅✅.

Ginger Soy Fish with Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Carrot Medley

When it comes to flavor, Asian-inspired dishes never disappoint. By using the Season & Steam Vegetable Medley bag, I was able to add the flavor I love to the bag prior to heating it up. For this recipe, I decided to use a white fish, like Cod or Basa, which allowed the Asian flavors to pop.

Baby Broccoli with Fried Garlic and Chili Oil

When cooking broccoli - particularly as a simple side dish - it can sometimes get repetitive and lack interest. This recipe is almost effortless while achieving an elegant flavor and aroma. Chili oil will bring just about anything to life. This paired with fried garlic is a match made in taste-bud heaven.

Loaded Cauliflower Mash

Mashed potatoes have been one of my go-to savory sides since childhood. Now, I love using cauliflower in place of potatoes for my mashed potato recipes because you can achieve a delicious flavor while incorporating a low-carb,  nutritious base. I really enjoy the mix-and-match concept of a loaded mash. I have even thought about doing a Loaded Cauliflower Mash bar for a dinner party in the future!

Air Fried Stuffed Baby Artichokes

If you are in search of the most flavorful Artichoke dish, then you have hit the jackpot. This recipe brings together Spinach and Garlic creaminess into one delectable bite. This is a special dish to share with friends that scores high on the flavor scale!
