Wine Down Wednesday

Written by Ocean Mist Farms. | November 16, 2021

When you think of your favorite bottle of wine, what about it do you like best? Maybe it’s the fruity flavor of a Shiraz or the crispness in a Pinot Grigio. Although delicious, do you ever think beyond the glass? There are endless ways to bring a French flare to your dishes using wine. Here are my four go-to wine-down Wednesday recipes! 🍷

Wine Braised Artichokes

Whether you are braising or deglazing, these two methods are some of the easiest ways to incorporate wine into your dish. Just add in a splash of your favorite white wine and wallah! These wine-braised Artichokes are a true show-stopper. Anything that involves herbs, wine, and butter has a special place in my heart. These are a perfect Wednesday night meal, especially if you are trying to impress!

Instant Pot Artichokes with White Wine, Capers, & Burrata

Let's take a trip to the South of France with these delicious and easy Instant Pot Artichokes with Burrata and Capers. These star ingredients pair perfectly together with a smooth creamy texture from the Burrata, one of my favorites πŸ˜‰, and a lemony, salty tang from the capers. These Artichokes cook in just 20 minutes, which makes this dish the perfect Wednesday, weeknight meal.

Chicken with Baby Artichokes and White Wine

Browning the chicken before adding in the additional ingredients allows it to soak in all the flavors as it completely cooks through. The Artichokes and mushrooms paired with the white wine and butter is a match made in heaven. This is a favorite in my house and a perfect weeknight dinner recipe that you'd be crazy not to love. πŸ‡

Instant Pot Lemon and Herb White Wine Artichokes

This Instant Pot Lemon and Herb White Wine Artichoke is a true classic! With hints of rosemary & thyme paired with creamy butter and lemon, this will become a weekly staple once you try it. Let's not forget to mention the delicious scent that permeates your home when cooking this recipe.  See how to cook tender, flavor-filled artichokes cooked to perfection in just 20 minutes here
