Adrienne Saldivar-Meier is a professional home cook and professional recipe developer for America’s top agricultural growers, including Ocean Mist Farms. She has written hundreds of recipes for the home cook and has won the Marketing Excellence Award from Produce Business for her creation of Ocean Mist Farm’s artichoke recipe, “Chokes & Chili”.
Adrienne conducts cooking classes in her coastal home along the Monterey Bay of California and offers cooking retreats in her Pacific Northwest Log Lodge outside of Spokane, Washington.
Growing up on California's central coast, she enjoyed delicious artichokes around the family dinner table and always on Christmas Eve! It is beyond perfection that she now markets artichokes for a living and gets to share the Ocean Mist Farms story and her love of all things fresh, especially artichokes!
Kelsey loves to share her journey to find balance in health and how learning a bit more about food can make a drastic difference in your daily life. She believes that we can get through this crazy life, one Brussels sprout at a time, and of course cheers to it with some wine on Friday night!
Originally hailing from Oklahoma, Mary grew up eating artichokes which was not the norm. After moving to California, it only seemed natural for her to work for the largest artichoke grower in the US, because she’s all heart. In her spare time, she plays volleyball and eats artichokes. She believes artichokes make her a better volleyball player. She also believes that playing volleyball makes her crave more artichokes.
